  Had as a dessert like wine after grilled burgers. Orange color. Nose with pears and alcohol. Viscous mouthfeel. Attack dominated by fruit and alcohol. Never really had anything like this before with an alcohol volume this high (15%). Reminds me of fortified wine. Should be enjoyed as chilled as possible.

  Surprisingly good. Visited Chateau D'Orschwihr this summer, mostly because I wanted to taste their wines from Grand Cru Rangen. It turned out, that I liked their Cremant d'Alsace, and Gewurztraminer wines quite well, but the Rieslings and Pinot Gris were major disappointments in my opinion. I ended up not buying their Rangen wine, as it wasn't antwhere near worth the prices they ask, then I'd rather spend the money on Zind-Humbrecht or Weinbach. But I bought a few Cuvee Madames, as they seemed promising, and I wasn't disappointed when opening one the other day.
