Aaaaaaahhhhhh.........that is the sound of me unwinding as this tickles down my throat. At first crisp and lemony, but then this unwinds and reveals a touch of honey, deep bready notes - almost almost tipping towards an oxidative style but holding it back (but for how long?). Very very long finish. For £15 this is a steal. Will it last? I'd start to drink them now and not wait too long.

Again, no detailed tasting note, but excellent and I am sorry these were my last two bottles. Balanced, good fruit and structure. Will definitely look out for the La Tufera again

Two more bottles drunk. No detailed tasting notes, but as ever very good and especially for the price. An excellent match with a rich seafood gratin. Well balanced wood with some good fruit, a nice lingering finish - leaving me wishing I had more than two bottles left.

Big creamy nutty nose - almond paste, with a little juicy green apple, unripe mango and a touch of lemon. Thick and rich taste with generous but well integrated oak. Crisp green apple and citrus with nice acid on this finish. Possibly a little overpowered.

Almost more New World on the nose - apples and a little lemon but with a good dose of oak; toffee apple? Taste of dry apples but with some good acidity - little obvious citrus, except some diluted pink grapefruit. More lemon citrus on the finish. I always really like this wine, and this is maybe the best so far of this vintage.
