  Showing quite developed brownish color. Oak and orange zest nose. Overpowered by wood/oak, and some tannins, hardly any fruit, thin structure, 83pts. Better the 2nd day, less oak but notes of grilled sultanas and almonds, 85pts.

  Nose of red fruits, alcohol, leather and orange zest. Opens up on airing to add more richness and depth with raspberry/strawberry notes. Light bodied and thinnish texture on the palate - somewhat short but this improves with airing. One thing that does not change is a hard, woody, unbending quality which renders it too austere for my taste.
