Dark ruby in the glass with long legs. White pepper and cedar on the nose. Very prominent fine tannins upon opening. Quite astringent, Medium+ acidity. Even after 3 hours the tannins still overwhelm any fruit - just not getting any at all. Definitely a wine for food. I'm going to let my last bottle age in the cellar for another 2-3 years and see how it evolves.

Menthol, leather, stewed fruit nose. Big fruit up front and highly tannic with Mocha on the aftertaste and some heat on the finish. Definitely behind Poggio Antico for me.
