Despite this wine being 27 years old and was expressed in a golden hue this was still quite fresh and took about an hour in the glass before demonstrating a burnt brioche nose and coconut and pineapple on the palate. Overall delicious towards the end. One more bottle left and I will consider opening an hour or so before drinking

Pale golden color. Nose of buttered popcorn (not "movie theater" like Cali. chard...think homemade, Southern popcorn), tropical fruits, and stones. The balance in the mouth is ethereal: the acid, alcohol, and a touch of sweetness all express themselves but none dominate. It finishes long and strong. This wine has quite a few years left...time to find some more bottles.
