I think this could indeed use a bit of complexity. Nothing wrong with it, nice kirsch flavors, medium body and a little bit of tannins - but it's a bit bland. Not a very good QPR for £10.

Purple/ruby in colour. Nose of spicy red fruit, tea and a touch of leather. In the mouth, it is suprisingly light, in both weight and feel. Cherry fruit, pepper, juniper and a little herb characteristics. A slightly choclatey feel on the end. Moderate tannin, giving just a touch of dryness on the good finish, a really nice wine.

Lovely aromas of cherries, cinnamon, chocolate and tea! Flavours of cherry, some wood and light pepper. This is really light for a Rhone, it is nearly Pinot territory. A really enjoyable, great value, wine.

Garnet coloured. Baked fruit, kirsch, dried herbs and french oak. Medium bodied and a medium finish. Overall, it is a fruit driven wine, it can use a little bit more complexity.

Pale red. Bouquet of ripe berries and herbs. Lovely palate with crunchy red berry fruits and herbs. Good finish.
