This is a bottle that if purchased from the local supermarket in 2009 would have cost some $10. The winery held it for an extra 7 years and sold it to me for $25. Not a bargain but it has aged into a decent cab. Lots of smooth red fruit with just the right amount of tannins and acidity and even some black olive and herbs in the middle/finish. Willing to overpay a little to encourage the NC wine industry to continue to improve.
