  pungent nose of spoiled, over ripe black fruit, but in a good way. big, thick, dry, smooth, soft tannins. on the tongue it screamed of pepper steak, or a sinful pastrami sandwich, or your mom's traditional pot roast, or a hearty stew. this is a great food wine, just be sure to match it up with something as bold as it is. this has a medium-long finish and is a great bargain at $14.
