Flavours are integrated and acids have softened. Fruit has faded but one can still detect red raspberry, the sous bois or forest floor, brambly fruit as well like blackberries, and these dried cranberries, almost like an aged berry cake if there was such a thing. I could not tell this was 15.1% ABV.

Wow, this is my kind of Pinot Noir, just delicious. I thought I would save some for tomorrow so I could see how it developed overnight, but got greedy. Now I must see how the last 6 ounces develops in my glass tonight. A decade in the bottle has really helped integrate the flavors and softened the acids in this beauty. Aromas of red raspberry and forest floor. Flavors of blackberries and sweet dried cranberries. The finish is long and reminiscent. This wine is balanced and at its peak.

Tasted slightly thinner than the 2007 that I drank the same night, but still delicious.

Weak follow-up to preceding night's 2005 Rochioli Little Hill. Earthy, muddled fruit profile.
