Dujac @ Trompette (La Trompette, London): Five stars last time (2013) and five stars now. Sweet, very fresh, super balance. An incredibly long mid-palate — goes on and on and on. Finishes well too, when it finally gets there. Wow. Sure, we can nitpick and say it's at the top end of auslese rather than BA, but it's just a complete and impressive wine. *****

Chambolle & Gevrey @ Trompette (La Trompette, London): Pale to mid straw. Very fresh, with a slightly sherbety nose. Wonderful poise, line, elegance and length. The definition of balance. So complete. *****
