Estate grown and bottled. 14.3% abv. I visited this vineyard and tasting room on my first trip to Sonoma County but didn't stop there last summer. I think it is near Deloach and Hook and Ladder properties. Merry Edwards receives some of their grapes. Inviting tart purple-fruited flavors with some savory notes backing up the fruit. Has a Russian River Valley vibe. Medium bodied. Nice balance. I wavered between rating it 86 or 87.

14.3% alcohol. Somewhat disappointing. Black cherry color. Somewhat flabby on the nose, with grapey black cherry and blueberry fruit. In the mouth, this doesn't have the elegance and refinement that I expect from this vineyard. It's really pretty innocuous. Some pleasant fruit, but it lacks. B

Notes from memory. Paired with a pan seared sesame crusted ahi with a soy ginger beurre blanc and asian noki salad. Decent nose, with oak and herbaceous elements. Decent fruit, with oak and red fruits. Has that RR pinot quality for sure.

A nose of berry and spice, medium amber in color. A smooth medium bodied Pinot, plum black cherry, with spice and some oak, a good QPR for a Pinot.
