  • Nice yellow gold. On the nose, nice ripe riesling aromas - peach and such with a touch of typical petroleum. On the palate nice sweet fruity attack with still a quite present acidity that keeps it light and lively. Light signs of evolution. For me it is ready today and a prime example of late harvest riesling. Very good! 89

  • Some petrol & Sauternes character in the aromatics (i don't detect any He-Man action figure aromas like the previous review) with a viscous dried apricot character on the finish. Light enough to pair with food, in my case spicy Thai curry. I drink very little Riesling so this is unique to me.

  • Straw pale yellow colour, Lots of Apricot, some floral notes, a smell that reminds me of old plastic he-man action figures.
Quite smooth and fresh, full mouth feel with a lingering finish.

  • Brought this bottle in class for the presentation of Lincoln Lakeshore and Cave Spring Cellars. Special thanks to the staff at Cave Spring for giving me more information about this wine and the growing season. Grapes were harvested from mid-december to early January at brix levels close to the minumum allowed by VQA for icewines.

    Crystal, pale gold, oily.
Nose: Flowers, candied lemon, minerality/petrol, honey.
Palate: Predominance of minerality and candied citrus. Finale is all citrus. Very high acidity, can taste it through a ton of sweetness. Very round and supple in the mouth. Can and will improve over the next couple of years.
Pairs very well with light to medium blue cheeses (had it with the Bleu Elizabeth from Quebec). Cannot stand next to monsters like the blue Valdeon from Spain.

  • Tasted this after a wonderful dinner at 20 on the Bench ? (best restaurant in Jordan) - and promptly bought a few bottles. Very nicely balanced, and made for a special end to a wonderful dinner. Big grin on face after consuming.
