Half bottle. Light golden. Honey and spice aromas. Medium bodied, quite glycerine. Moderately sweet spicy apple and a bit of stone fruit with vanilla bean and baby powder thrown in. Sound but not exaggerated acidity. Great purity and length. Again, simply delicious, elegant dessert wine.

Celebratory End of Year Wines; 12/24/2020-12/31/2020 (Home-Where Else??): Half bottle. Light golden color. Perfumed botrytis nose. Moderately sweet yellow peach and vanilla, fine slate finish. Not as energetic as previous bottles due to lower acidity. Shorter, fragmented finish. Best on the entry for its sweeping, spicy stone fruit; that part is hard to fault.

Half bottle. Bright light golden color. Ooh, just dripping with honey. Medium weight. Pristine yellow apple and stone fruit, perfectly ripe, drenched in a sweet, botrytized finish. Truly BA in Auslese's clothing. Not the greatest acidity nor the most slate-driven Mosel ever, but one can still sum up this gem in three words--ridiculously, decadently delicious. Why didn't I buy more at the time??

Half bottle. Full yellow. Tangy botrytis, honey, orange, and peach. Rich entry, sweet (could pass for a BA), but excellent acidity and some minerality bring the finish firmly back into the lighter reaches of the Mosel. This is fiendishly delicious if not the most precise wine ever, and it disappeared in record time.
