Dark red fruit and earthy stuff (and rhubarb?) on the nose. More dark fruit and some greenness on the palate, with ample acid and tannin. Balanced and seriously drinkable. Nice.

Disclaimer: I made this wine and have added details so that public information is accurate. The following notes are descriptors from the wine's tech sheet. -------------- The 2008 Two Pisces Pinot Noir is beautifully complex. Aromas of forest floor mingle with undertones of red fruit, especially ripe cherry. On the palate this wine is crisp with a complex play between the earthy elements, bright cherry, red raspberry, and cranberry. The earthiness that is obvious in the aroma adds layers of complexity on the palate. This wine is satisfying now as a young wine and with its complexity in the glass, a solid spine of acidity, and noticeable fine-grained tannins, it will evolve for years in bottle. --------------

Very balanced. Nice pairing with Tuscan Chicken. Happy to have more in the cellar.
