well enjoyed with the chocolate notes stronger and the fruit a little muted compared to the last bottle. still, glad we bought these bottles last fall. happy memories.

Quite good, nice fruit, a bit of complexity on the finish. Only problem is that at this price one can find much better value. But I try to support Virginia wine makers, and this is a good one.

not much of a nose, but good, deep ruby color. Rich, fruity taste, classic merlot finish with a bit of minerality. a pleasant wine, good concentration, but not very complex. Price is a bit much for what one gets. But I live in Virginia and keep trying to find the best wines produced here. And this one is quite good.

(Pollak Merlot) Dark-cherry and oak aromas lead to a fruit-forward palate with rich chocolate flavor and a hint of oaky sweetness. Great structure, sweet tannins, and an enticing, velvety finish. Meet Virginia
