dark fruit but not heavy. Cherries etc. juicy style. No tannins, round, natural wine style. Impressive for a 9 year Languedoc red and surprisingly still going strong. For me this is sailing on its plateau, completely resolved without any of the harsh alcohol which usually puts me off Landguedoc reds.

Fantastic bargain. The bouquet was filled with iron, white pepper and cherry. The flavors followed through on the palate with complicating notes of fire pit and herbs. Juicy and cool, with a stoney finish. Quite a nice find.

[From memory] Tasty rhone blend without being overripe or overdone. Good complexity though it can be smoother. Somewhat short finish.

Deep, dark fruits. Meaty and spicy with excellent structure. Medium bodied, with a hint of tar. Surpising complexity for such a modest wine.
