  Rich and ripe - bordering tropical - nose with notes of banana and ripe yellow gooseberry. Some pepper and the slightest touch of caramel. Nothing green about the nose.
  Dry and slightly oily palate with rising mid-level acidity. Rather primary fruit profile of grapes, white currant and quince - all through the palate. Intense mineral presence (chalky?). Long.
  A very nice combination of rich/fruity and on the other hand more savoury attitudes.
