shiny light golden colour - nice. nose: lightely dried grass with delicate not ripe bannana, sweet lemon - rich. taste: bittersweet lemon with some limestone and stony notes; rather full bodied as the Pinot Grigio can be; long finish with some ripe apricots and biscuits. serious Pinot Grigio. We tried to pair it with catfish slowly cooked in butter. The fish was brilliant , the wine excellent but they do not go together well. Wine overwhelmed the fish so we drunk it after the meal.
