A great value little wine. Juicy and ripe, but with good tannin and structure. The primary plummy fruit was nicely integrated into the oaky vanilla in the mid palate. Followed by a soft ripe finish. Full and tasty.

Apparently this is from the d'Arenberg stable. I cant say I'm surprised, this is really very good McLaren Vale Shiraz for £9. The nose is open and full of plums with a hint of blackcurrant. The palate is quite spicy but very smooth, liquorice and a hint of leather to finish.
