  • Paul Blanck Dinner, Iodio Restaurant. My first expeirence of variety Pinot Auxerrois. Yellow/gold with a rosey tinge? Reminds me of a Gewurztraminer. Initially closed nose. The winemaker advised that the wine needs a bigger glass than the usual flute in oredr to reveal its aromas and flavours. Initially closed nose, pears, apples, slight toast. Light creamy mouthfeel balanced by crisp acidity, citrus mineral flavours come through later
