Popped and poured from 58 deg cellar. Dark at the rim, no bricking. Nose is dark raspberries and white pepper spice with earthy tones. This smells like a top notch Paul Hobbs Pinot. Dark in the glass, flavors of dark berries and pinot fruits. This has improved since last bottle, would still keep longer in my opinion. Great score Chad Alexander- wish you could say the winery- as I'd go fetch some of their wines.

Alright, this was the last of these bottles and this one finally showed some of what others have found in this wine. Good earthy fruit on the nose. A little chalky on the palate, but otherwise rather nice. Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

My last bottle of Chad Pinot Noir from 2009 brings my tasting impression to a new high! The tart cherries on the palate are matched with baking spices and a touch of anise on the finish. At the bargain price of $18, this is truly an outstanding bottle. Not sure if this is bottle variation from the previous five, or whether this vintage is just now hitting its stride. Either way, I'm a happy guy. Thanks, Chad.
