  • The bottle I just drank over a 2 day period was much better than the January 2012 bottle I drank. Did some research and this is actually 75% Cab and 25% Syrah. Grapes are sourced from: Calistoga, Yountville and Oakville. This was not flat as the Jan 2012 bottle I drank and has lots more life. Good fruit and much better balanced with the tannin and spice. Noticed this was much better on the first taste.

  • I agree with prior CT user note. This is ok so am only rating as good. I have eight more bottles to go so I may experiment to see how this will age. I may try the rest with a one bottle per 6 month period to see if it gets better. This is not bad. Nice fruit and some tannin. But not sure it all comes together. Good QPR though.

  • OK. While their $35 Jocelyn Lonen Cabernet is a great value and has never failed to impress, this second label wine didn't do much for me. It just doesn't feel like the components of the wine are working together. The tannins stand apart from the fruit and it just isn't in balance.
