OK, If you are sitting on these probably best to drink up. But...I was very pleasantly surprised...for this bottle, consumed over 2 weeks with a Coravin, this was really in a beautiful spot. Dark cherries, cinnamon, eucalyptus on the nose. Palate is full, if not a bit aged, with bright cherry, mint, bit of cigar box. Honestly, very lovely, if a bit tired. Drink up if you have them...

Drinking very smooth. You don't want to age this any longer. The tannins started out very laid back but came forward as it received air. Had it with steak and goat cheese which worked well.

Have had several of the O-S wines laying down in the wine rack for many years, always seems to be some other wine I grab instead when picking a bottle out. This week I was looking for something with a bit of bottle age and Bordeaux blend, grabbed the R3. Pop and pour, initial taste seemed to have a bit of spritz on it, but it dropped off after about 15 min. Medium-dark ruby with bit of fading edges; menthol, blue and red fruits on the nose; palate had nice fruit with very resolved tannins, dark cherry, cocoa, touch of mint, more red fruit. The spritz and the mellow tannins tell me it might be time to drink up rather than have it decline further, try to drink my other bottle in the next year. 50+5+19+13+7=84

Blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot. Oak, Cherry, perhaps blueberry. A little bit of an oxidized note. Aftertaste includes sprice and dark fruit. Good balance, and long aftertaste. Low to medium tannin, moderate body. Doesn't really fit my taste.
