  • This one had somewhat split personality indeed, constantly changing and showing all the components in turns, complex but hardly harmonious (yet?). Green aromas at times, then suddenly honeyed notes, peach, pineapple, old wood spice. Very lively, quite concentrated, and still a touch neutral, with some oak and tropical hints. Looks like there's a lot to like, though might be enough to dislike for anyone.

  • Have to start by saying I love this winery after visitng there in 2010. If you are in Tuscany, put it on your list. That said....this Lodano was disappointing. It kind of tastes like what it is - a mismatched concoction of grapes. It just felt out of balance with the chardonnay, riesling, and traminer fighting each other rather than complementing. i'm looking forward to my Giusti Di Notris though.
