  Opaque garnet with a very thin ruby rim. Nose of dark cherries and cedar. In the mouth, the cherries persist, with a backup of cassis and a little metallic note. Cedar re-asserts on the finish, which is medium-to-long. Balance is quite good; medium weight, moderate tannins and acidity.
  
  Drink through 2014. Note that this wine does throw some sediment; either decant or filter.
