Tasted like it was past its prime, but perhaps (based on other tasting notes) I should have decanted longer. Minimal nose, harsh finish and not much in between.

Purple-ruby, slow moving legs. Medium developing vegetal nose, spicy note, dark red fruits, alcohol. Off-dry, medium acidity, high alcohol, low tannins, a warm wine with aromas of brambles, dark cherries, not much else going on . Not very well structured, balanced. Medium(-) body, and medium(-) finish with chalky tannins, drops off. Fruit-driven simple wine, to be enjoyed when young.

C: Bright, but opaque, plum N: Barnyard funk, earth, dark black fruits P: black currant, hint of vanilla and tobacco F: medium+
On the pnp, this was an astringent mess. Very rough. But with a couple of hours of air, it smoothed out and became a nice wine. If this was a little less pricy (paid $15), it would be a nice buy. At $15, I might re-buy, but not much.

A nose of some funk and fruit, dark purple in color. A medium bodied Malbec, with black cherry, pepper, a bit rough in spots, average at best.

The nose: pickled cucumbers, ginger, granulated black tea, cassis. The taste is full and strong, more pleasant then aroma, with notes of slate pencil.
