Medium bodied, garnet hues. Initial aroma of root cellar and dried fruit. Plum and cherry fruit dominant on palate with slight earthy funk in the background. Decanted for 1 hour and consumed over 1.5 hours. Had staying power and was at its best after 1 hour.
Had with pizza maestro and tomato salad.
Purchased in Torino March 2010, consumed on Mayne Island B.C.
