  Ample Amarone wine in a modern, drinkable style from the hillsides below the village of San Giorgio. Varietal composition : 50 % Corvina, 35 % Corvinone, 10 % Rondinella and 5 % Croatina & Dindarella. The grapes were air-dried for 5 months (until the end of January) to concentrate the fruit. Maturation: 18 months in 1500 liters Slavonian oak casks. Very tiny production of 4000 bottles. Decanted: two hours before tasting. Deep dark ruby-red colored wine with a generous nose of ripe berry and bramble fruit, dark chocolate and a hint of thyme. Rich, powerful but well balanced palate with an attractive concentration of red fruit, sweet spices and succulent tannins. Warm aftertaste. Should continue to evolve nicely for 4-5 years.
  
  Een stoere Amarone-wijn in een moderne, toegankelijke stijl, afkomstig van de heuvelruggen onder het dorpje San Giorgio. Samenstelling: 50 % Corvina, 35 % Corvinone, 10 % Rondinella en 5 % Croatina & Dindarella. De druiven worden gedurende ongeveer vijf maanden ingedroogd (tot einde januari), dit om een hogere concentratie te bekomen. Rijping: 18 manden op Slavonische eik (1500 liter). Zeer beperkte productie van een 4000 flessen. Gedecanteerd: twee uur voor consumptie. Wijn met een dichte, donkere robijnrode kleur en een genereus bouquet van rijp bessen- en bramenfruit, zwarte chocolade en een vleugje tijm. Rijke, krachtige maar mooi uitgebalanceerde smaak met een aantrekkelijke concentratie van rood fruit, zachte kruiden en succulente tannines. Warme finale. Zal zich allicht nog 4-5 jaar verder ontwikkelen.
