Wow - this held up well. Baked golden apple but freshness too, and the minerality is now mellow, almost soil-like. Good balance and poise, this is a delicious and well made wine, and very very much alive. I left a glass and a half for day two and it fell off a bit - lost some balance, the acidity became a bit more pronounced. Truly lovely wine and seems to be at peak.

I hadn't had this in more than five years. It's definitely past its prime, having gotten more golden in color and lacking acid to support the ripe apples and pears. This was always a riper, softer vintage and I guess one ultimately not meant for long-term aging.

Definitely time to drink this up, nice fruit, but not much energy, acid left. Probably starting to fade and lose definition at this point. Still a pleasure.

A little oxidized, but still good acid/sweetness balance, enough salinity to work well with capers in chicken piccata. At. The end of its life though
