  Great brambly, blueberry fruit with dark chocolate notes in the mix; this is soft, balanced, rich, chocolatey, with black cherry in the mouth. Integrated vanilla notes from 14 mo. in French and American oak and "only" 14.4% alc. make this really easy to like.

  Excellent nose, big like a cab, yet very fruity like a syrah. Raspberries jump out and some cedar, tingling finish on the tongue. A very consistent wine, beginning to end. Opens up fabulous and gets better as the minutes pass by aerated into a decanter; enjoyed it's peak 3 hrs after opening. Might I add, a dark chocolate truffle was the bomb w/ this vino!!!

  Hits initially with strong cherry flavors- lots of currant and raspberry too. Intense but not too complex, the fruit slowly fades out into a long finish. 14.4% alcohol is somewhat high and gives the wine a sweet character throughout. I enjoyed this wine very much.

  An excellent wine. Smooth, elegant, with hints of fresh raspberries. Noticeable oak, but refined and not overpowering--understated. Very tasty. Mid-palate revealed a superb cedar component. Silky finish. Opened one hour before drinking. Perfect, let me repeat, perfect, with grilled lollipop lamb chops.
