Archetypal Stags Leap Cabernet, with signature graphite, pencil shavings, and green Veltrano olive notes suffusing dark cassis/black cherry fruit all admirably balanced by dusty fine tannins. Long elegant finish. Currently at peak drinkability.

MAYBE. Not hugely impressed, deep purple colour with fruit and a considerable bucket of tannins, there is good acidity but a tad too much heat (14.1). Will this mature into something distinctive and greatly more attractive. I think no, baby puppy. This will never challenge Bordeaux.
