"2015" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/11/2014-10/16/2014 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {screwcap, 13%} A big hit with an MS-qualified judge; probably due to its similarity to oaky Californian cardonnays he probably drinks plenty of; I thought this was bloody good for such a modestly-priced wine at nearly a decade old. Muted butter & oak nose, it has creamy, peachy developed fruit on the medium/full-bodied palate. Soft acid now, but still a medium/long finish, with lots of mid-palate weight. I’d hock into these soon, while they’re still drinking so well.

Oak, honey and spice. Palate is medium bodied and length. Decent balance, drinking well now.
