  This wine has aged beautifully. Silky smooth, nice notes of plum and spice. I think it might have a few more years in it, but I can’t see it getting better. Glad I have 4 more to go!!

  Wow!
  What a great surprise!
  After shattering the cork, and decanting it for an hour it showed so much younger than its 19 years!
  Great fruit.
  Medium acid.
  Round, juicy softened tannins.
  Gone for Good to Great !!!

  Excellent. Last bottle and it has done really well. Cork is perfect. It's quite fresh still. Remarkably similar comments to previously, and remarkably consistent scores.
  Colour: dark bright berry red.
  Bouquet: ripe spicy red berries, some mint and blueberry, some dustiness and forest floor, touches of liquorice and leather and milk chocolate - but all delicate and emphasis on fruit rather than secondary characters
  Palate: like bouquet, with emphasis on fruit. Some plums and vanilla. Quite full bodied but incredibly soft and silky, long, balanced very clean finish.

  Excellent, gorgeous wine still going well. 14% alc. Much the same comments as previously. So different to the Redmans of 2001 consumed 3 nights ago. This has far more berry and chocolate.
  Colour: deep black berry
  Bouquet: classic blackberry, plum and spice, delicatessen character, cedar, dusty, green tobacco
  Palate: as bouquet, medium bodied, vanilla, black fruits, some forest floor, chocolate texture, very dry, good line and length. Classy elegant style.

  Excellent, 14% alc.
  Colour: deep black berry
  Bouquet: classic blackberry and spice, chocolate, cedar, dusty, green tobacco
  Palate: as bouquet, medium bodied, vanilla, black fruits, some forest floor, long finish. Classy elegant style.
