  Nostalgic wine for me as it was my Dad's favourite and loved visiting Rutherglen growing up. Displaying a clear red-brick color, this wine attests to its well-aged status. After decanting for an hour, the wine reveals a distinct aroma profile of vanilla, cherry cola, and spice, providing a hint of the complexity within. On the palate, it's notably balanced, with tannins that have mellowed over time, offering an appealing mix of fruit and savory flavors. Despite its age, this wine maintains a surprising vibrancy and definitely offers a tasting experience that belies its weight class. A true testament to the potential longevity and complexity of Shiraz from Rutherglen.

  Lovely gentle flavour, all integrated, some dry tannin lingers but in balance, has aged very well
