Dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of tar, black berries and a hint of white pepper. Flavors of black berries, black raspberries and plums. Light to medium acidity, medium tannin, medium body. Drink over the short term.

70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre. Excellent deep garnet color in glass with thin browning rims. Lovely bouquet. Good deep fruit on palate. Alchohol (14.5%) under control. Hints of oak. Very nice and at peak. (I paid $15.99).

Poured my glass after bottle was open for an hour or so. Big Rhone nose of dark red fruit, black pepper and bacon fat. Cherry and spice on the palate with a medium long finish. Give this some air if you can before serving. Solid QPR at $14 in PA.

Nose: really strong beef jerky and bbq ribs. Very unique and hints of cranberry jam, cardboard, balsamic. Relatively big nose. Some black pepper too. Taste: very meaty taste, definitely taste like a curried meat stew or pot pie with some cranberry sauce on top of it. Very gentle, a medium body wine. Smooth texture and soft tannin. I get a lot of wild mushroom and a dry wine. The finish is a little disappointing since the entrance and the body is so flavourful. It is a nice wine to pair with cheese. Seriously I get some Dr. Pepper in this without the carbonation. Some hickory smoke.
