4th Saturday Group: Uptown Brown Bag (M&R): Courtesy of T&L. Plummy dark fruit and spice with hints of leather underneath. Medium-bodied and soft, with spice and red fruit on the palate. Medium finish. Complemented the steak nicely.

Red brick color and not much of a nose scared me at first. After being open for an hour it came to life. Beautiful cherries and lots of smooth fruit. 92

Fruit has taken a back seat to smokey oak, dried herbs, bitter coffee beans, and toast. Some black fruits still exist, as do hefty tannins. Out of balance and probably never will be.

Very muted flavors. We waited too long on this one.

Past its prime. Much of the fruit has faded. Still has a bit of structure, but the elegance of its tannins in its younger days are long gone.
