This wine made by a Willamette Valley producer with Southern Oregon grapes from the Carpenter Hill Vineyard in the Bear Creek area of the Rogue Valley appellation . The color is a dark red with a nose of black fruit, oak, cherry, olives and pepper spices. The palate shows a full body that is fruit forward with different layers of flavor and acid. The finish is long and tannic. This offering is a very well balanced big wine that should go with rich food. Relatively inexpensive you should give it a try through 2015.
