Tasted by tantotinto on 6/21/2020 & rated 92 points: Honey colored. Floral nose. Baked apple, lemon, mineral and a touch of butterscotch on the palate. My wife is also getting pineapple but I am not. Full, vibrant and delicate. (1689 views)
Tasted by jkoenen on 12/14/2019 & rated 87 points: Too much oxidation for a wine of this age and pedigree... :-(
Still drinkable, though... (1881 views)
Tasted by Markus IWC on 5/30/2019 & rated 91 points: Bourgogne GC BYO, vin 3:

Fat och citrus dominerad, redan den gyllene färgen skvallrar om de rikliga faten.

Färdigutvecklad och fyllig. Smörig näsa med honung, ost, citronskal, viss sötma och vanilj.

Torr och behaglig munkänsla med jord, damm, hög syra. 91p

Tasted by Greg Pierce on 3/8/2019: Deep golden.

Rocks, nuts, a hint of anise, floral/honeysuckle, citrus on the nose.

grapefruit, lemon, a smidge of butter/butterscotch, with a very long finish.

This was drinking very nicely tonight. (2155 views)
Tasted by Zunga on 7/6/2018 & rated 92 points: Lovely bottle with white flower aromas and a melon and lemon palate (2480 views)
Tasted by Jeffrey Silver on 4/23/2018 & rated 94 points: This is wonderful wine to enjoy anytime. Regrettably this was my last bottle. I have lots of 2009,and 2010 but 2007 was very expressive. It took a while to open open up but after 1hr in glass this wine had load of green Apple 🍏 fruit on its nose. The taste was hints of cotton candy and honeysuckle. There is no doubt this wine has lots of life still available in it. It’s truly so beautiful today but future bright. (2095 views)
Tasted by Kemo Sabe on 2/25/2018 flawed bottle: Horribly premoxed. (1746 views)
Tasted by wgoelen on 1/21/2018 flawed bottle: Oxidized. 5 bottles out of 6 for thr sink. And the sixth was only average ... (1868 views)
Tasted by wgoelen on 1/20/2018 flawed bottle: premoxed (1470 views)
Tasted by Kemo Sabe on 11/22/2017 & rated 92 points: A lot of these have been premoxed but this one was not. Nutty and leesy, good yellow fruit, acidity and structure. Just the slightest hint of oxidation but not bothersome. But, I would say drink up as this was on the edge. Enjoyable tonight for sure but risky holding these any longer. (1339 views)
Tasted by weiny on 7/25/2017 & rated 87 points: Leider schon firnig (1531 views)
Tasted by wgoelen on 4/2/2017: Premox (1747 views)
Tasted by Balessey on 11/26/2015 & rated 93 points: Tight on opening. Grapefruit, minerals. Very smooth with a long finish. (2805 views)
Tasted by weiny on 8/1/2015 & rated 98 points: Leichte reife Noten und grundsätzlich ein sehr vollmundiger Chardonnay. Trotzdem aber mit einer leichten Note und sehr angenehm zu trinken (3148 views)
Tasted by jmoore431 on 7/21/2015 & rated 86 points: These Jadot whites get over-scored by us simply clicking "flawed". Clearly advanced in age before its time. Oxidative nuttiness yet there was a rich wine with minerality dying beneath it. Died a quick death like the many poor quality '99 Corton Charlies they ripped me off with. (2984 views)
Tasted by Luvwine1 on 5/16/2015 flawed bottle: Premox. Geez in a 2007? Aggravating. (2856 views)
Tasted by Burgnick on 4/29/2015 flawed bottle: Premox (2883 views)
Tasted by clayfu on 2/8/2015: Tasted blind: I thought the wine was in a weird funky stage. I couldn't get my palate wrapped around it as the flavors were kinda flyin all over the place, definitely a touch advanced though (2572 views)
Tasted by Milos on 6/14/2014 & rated 93 points: Nose slightly dominated by oak to start with. Apple and pear, spice and lemon with great mineral notes. Mouth coating palate and long finish. Drinkable but still improving. (2467 views)
Tasted by Jeffrey Silver on 5/23/2014 & rated 96 points: This is beautiful wine. Still at a early age but very approachable now. The nose is fresh and floral. The tastes has a magnificent apple brioche. The is a overlay of wonderful gratefruit. The finish goes on and on. The wine and vintage is amazing. I'm so glad to have some and it will age effortlessly for the next 10yrs. Can't wait to open another. (2499 views)
Tasted by Jeffrey Silver on 8/31/2013 & rated 94 points: The wine looks Yellow gold colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Grapefruit, Lime, Strawberry Jam, Lychee, Pineapple, Chrysanthemum, and Butterscotch. It tastes like Passion fruit, and Honeydew. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Polished texture. The wine finishes Long. (3366 views)
Tasted by Jeff Leve on 8/20/2013 & rated 92 points: Minerality, citrus and a distinctive floral note open this medium bodied, forward wine that ends with grapefruit and lemon oil in the finish. (3613 views)
Tasted by CWilliam on 7/21/2013 & rated 93 points: Last wine of tasting and WOTN (funny as it was the only white wine). didn't take good notes on this one. Crisp palate feel with lemon, touch of butter & floral undertones. Showing slight oxidation - medium body with very long finish. Best white wine I have had in some time. 93+ (2812 views)
Tasted by tantotinto on 3/26/2013 & rated 94 points: No detailed notes as I drank this with a friend a couple of nights ago. My impression was that it needs more time. Everything is there but it has not fully settled yet. We followed it with a 2004 Leeuwin Artist Series Chardonnay which made it seem very light by comparison. (2418 views)
Tasted by jmcmchi on 11/10/2012 & rated 90 points: Yellowish hue, lingering traditional style offering. Very much a personal matter of taste whether you would rate it higher (2542 views)

(Louis Jadot Corton-Charlemagne) Deep, broad, ripe, and pure, with evanescent aromas of white flowers and allspice leading to green apple, pear, and minerals. Big-bodied and sappy, this is a lovely, well-built effort. Appellation: Corton

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
