the nose unmistakably spells Gewuertz. Sweet and fragrant. On the palate there is a hint of rose petals, otherwise the wine is curiously flat and short and finishes with a bitter after taste.
More interesting than pleasurable.

In the mouth it's juicy, fresh, biscuit, honey, lychee, sweet spice, still textured on the mid palate. Beautifully balanced. No fade on the palate. Long finish. Glorious. The only fault would be a slight lack of length but, at 35 years old, this is a bit of a stunner.
