Introduction
Was a impromptu wine and food 8 of showed up, 16 wines [i think] plus some finished my XO Cognac and Scotch. Lots of great wine, great people

What stood out for me was the Galil Pinot Noir, Circus Malbec, Priorat, La Frenz Merlot

2010 Blasted Church Pinot Gris

Lots of Peaches were on the palate and nose, med+ body peach juice almost acidity was there too, was brought by rep and was opened for 24hrs, really good

Oak on the Nose, Oak on the Palate, just a lot of oak, good Acid tho, fruit hidden

1999 Chateau Musar Blanc

Must say not everyones favourite because the next day 1/5th of the bottle was left over, I did enjoy, one complaint was not enough acid, but others Im guessing was to different or funky, it was med+ body, med acid.

Talk about Surprising, I wasn't really interesting in trying this as I was thinking hot climate pinot blargh, but Boy oh boy was I surprised, this was a couple WOTN , Think Sonoma Pinot compared to Santa Barbera.

Circus has done it again, I love the Cab Sauv, this Malbec right on spot, good juice / in your face but yet restrained, Very Good, Would buy for sure

This was my Wine that surprised me of the night, good body weight, good fruit, good structure, acid, all in the right spot, thumbs up on this. This is how a merlot should be [age probably helps it here]

Well this wine was a favourite among peoples, I did noticed a couple peoples disappointed faces when they reached for the bottle to fill their glasses up, so it was a winner. Ripe Fruit, but not over done, funk, earth, like a priorat should be
