Light golden in color. Nose of bread, yeast and chestnuts. Tastes of pineapple. Nice effervescence. A little bitterness but a nice elegant finish. Brought by Dave.

An intriguing golden red in color. Mocha, coffee, toast, sweet fruit. Very light on it's feet with great acidity. Extremely complex. 60+ second finish. One of the finest rose's I have ever tasted. Brought by Dave.

Dark ruby in color and not showing its age. Bright blackcurrant with hot chilli peppers. Very vibrant and alive. Great acidity. A little barnyard. Not complex but nice. Fading a bit in the glass as the night went on. Brought by Jan.

Ruby color. Perfumed nose of blackcurrant and earth. Elegant and layered. Fantastic finish with great acidity. I personally prefer the '97 we had last week. Brought by Josh.
