Tasting, brief note. Nicely floral start with lemon, lime and lemon peel. slightly ripe with overall good balance. Same as a bottle at dinner a few days ago.
Tasting, brief note. Sweet red and black cherry. Starts with forward and seemingly ripe fruit, with assertive acidity middle to finish. Better with food, best to enjoy for youthful pleasure.
Tasting, brief note. Big red cherry throughout comes across as rich and nicely ripe. Lots of acidity, so also certainly better with food. Should be a good value wine.
Tasting, brief note. They opened this 4 hours pre-tasting, and decided to decant, which I think was well rewarded. Rich black cherry with slightly sweet spice. Very good balance, moderate concentration. Still slightly astringent on finish, this should soften with another 2-3 years in the cellar. My favorite of the tasting.
Tasting, brief note. A wonderful combination of classic Nebbiolo character in a young-drinking, forward package. Elegant, nicely floral with plenty of red cherry with spice hints. Very good length. Very good+ value wine.
Tasting, brief note. Seemed very forward with plenty of ripe cherry. Oddly seemed reasonably earthy and advanced for Barolo this young, so I am thinking being open 5 hours before I tasted was too much air for this vintage. Still, unsure if this is representative.
Intensely floral like a Muscat with some nutty hints. Fun and enjoyable low alcohol wine, slightly sweeter than demi-sec while not fully dessert sweet.
