Vanilla dominates the nose before at last yielding to some fruit. Slightly oaky attack, tannin and fruit, somewhat tough in the mid palate, may still soften.
A fruity developed nose with some complexity. There's a lot of tannin here and the oak comes through as does the alcohol, a little out of balance maybe.
1993 Château Langoa Barton 88 Points
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Julien
Ripe baked fruit, youthful for an eighteen year old wine, a quite lovely fragrance.
Tannin dominated fruit, but balanced, smooth drinking well.
