Barrel tasting at winery. Ripe, round black fruit. Pleasant but seemingly short, even if very easy to enjoy. Best young. 84-86 point potential for me.

Barrel tasting at winery, this was just the Cabernet component as the final blend will include approx 15% Merlot. Ripe black fruit with good spice. Plum and black cherry on palate, again showing nice spice. Merlot should soften some of the slightly rough edges, and I think this has 88-92 point potential.

Tasting at winery. From part of the former George de Latour vineyard with 15% Merlot added. Plum, anise and kirsch aromas. Soft start on palate, picking up weight from middle to finish. Very good structure, better in another couple of years.

Barrel tasting at winery. Softer, lush black fruit that comes across as very well-rounded, with modest spice, modest structure. Very good in a couple of years, but pricey at around $80. Also from a part of what was formerly in the BV GdLatour vineyard.

Tasting at winery. Distinctly strong aromas of ripe fruit with lots of earth and mushroom. Fruit seemed slightly subdued, perhaps even shut down today, also less ripe. 12% Zinfandel.
