  Beautiful , mature Napa Cabernet. PnP. Deep garnet in color with slight bricking at the edges, but doesn't give away it's age . Opens with red cherries, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco, earth and cassis. Still has amazing fruit with red cherries, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco, earth flavors. Beautiful balance. The tannins are silky smooth in the long finish. showing really well now, not sure it will improve, but should hold for at least another 5 years.

  Deep garnet in color with slight bricking edges. Nose of red cherries, dark chocolate, leather, and a hint of earth. Taste of bing cherries, dark chocolate, leather, and earth. Well balanced with bright fruit which is extremely impressive for 20 years old, California cab. In a great place now, but should be a pleasure to drink for at least another 5 years.

  Third night of horizontal 02 Prov Rutherford. First 2 nights Lyre Trellis and Geneva Double Curtain. I'm pretty sure no one else in their right minds keeps 3 different types of the same wine for 15 years. Pristine provenance - pun intended.
  
  This one is like the GDC. Decent nose which includes a little floral element. Good fruit, but it's best days are long past. I don't get the Rutherford dust on this one. Short finish. Drink up. Enjoy.

  Garnet red with some browning on the edges. On day one the nose was very muted with just a little chalk and cassis, but on day two the nose opened up a little more with some more dark berries and a slight undertone of acetone. Well integrated and solid tannins (6/10), moderate plus body and moderate finish. Solid body for a 14 year old bottle, and some aged dark fruits on the attack. Drink till 2019.

  Very muted nose and a little lacking here.
  
  Decanted for a day. Chocolate on the body with integrated tannins (6.5/10). The touch of acidity goes well with food. Also dark black chocolate in the finish. Moderately long finish.
