No specific notes, but this is so smooth, so elegant and such a fine sparkle. Great! In my experience much more delicate and complex than the previous bottle.

Smoky. Raspberry. A lot of high acidity. Still alive. I am not such a great lover of wines in which acidity has taken over and the stuffing is missing. On the other hand I can imagine that this wines combines perfectly with a tomato/mushroom based delicate meal. No score.

In general an ok bouquet with earthy and raspberry smells, but when you inhale deep there is some ammonia as well. On the palate unripe raspberries and a lot of acidity. A bit too much for my taste. The color is still vital. Some say this wine needs more time.

The bouquet is still a bit locked, although there are ripe cassis and cherries. On the palate there are lots of tastes in this concentrated wine. Earthy, leather, a lot of cassis and cherries, tobacco, chocolate and a hint of sweetness. Very soft, but still youthful tannin. Given enough air this is a beauty now, but waiting for another 5 years or so will be no problem.

This is something special and I love it. Elegant power in the bouquet. (although there is a little glue/paint/VA in it I don't see it as disturbing) A lot of alcohol and sweetness. Good acidity and soft tannin to back it up. Leather, earthy, soft red and black fruits. The acidity gives the wine elegant freshness and makes it lovely to drink.

Give this wine enough air by double decanting it six hours before drinking and you will be amazed. So complex, elegant and well structured. Really smooth. Meaty, very juicy, cassis, chocolate and perfectly oaked. A treat!

This is a wine that makes you feel happy. It is so complete. Too many nuances to discover. So young, but also so ready. I can hardly imagine a wine can be more complete. All in such a beautiful harmony. We decanted it 6 hours before drinking, so there is certainly future in this wine. 99 for now, maybe 100 in a few years.

Second time I got this wine blindfolded and I gave it the same score. Expressive bouquet with lots of things which all come back in the taste. Ripe black cassis, coffee, chocolate, earthy, perfectly oaked. All beautifully integrated. A very complete wine!

This certainly is a great wine with a lot of potential. At the moment not living up to the expectations. A lot of red and black fruits as well as acidity and tannin. I don't know where the extreme drinking window in CT comes from, but I hope it is correct. For the moment I score it "only" 92. I hope I will have the opportunity to taste this again in 10 - 15 years from now. (But based on this tasting experience I will not buy it myself. For this price you can buy so many wines which are beautiful already.)

A mouth full of wine. Very extracted, but I like it. Full bodied and creamy. Ripe black forest fruits and laurel. Cocoa. Meaty. Elegant oak. Harmonious and still very young. Give it 3-5 more years to develop.

Like my blind note from 2005 I scored this wine 94 again in a blind tasting. And with the same characteristics; pleasant barnyard, juicy, pleasant oak, some sweetness. Soft, subtle and complex. The wine is completely ready now.
