Masterclass Dinner with Thierry Gardinier eldest of Xavier’s three sons.

Not too keen on the '08 Frank Phelan

Flight 2 - 1st Course (1 Note)

Gamekeepers terrine, Rowanberry jelly
The '05 is still slightly closed but showing lots of promise.

Flight 3 - 2nd Course (2 Notes)

Woodland Mushrooms on toast with hedgerow garlic
The '03 was surprisingly good for the vintage while the '01 is classic claret.

Flight 4 - 3rd Course (2 Notes)

Confit shoulder of lamb with celeriac dauphinoise
Two incredibly beautiful wines.

Flight 5 - 4th Course (1 Note)

Keen's cheddar, Stilton
The '09 rich and fresh with the classic toffee nose of the vintage.

Closing

The '96 & '90 stole the show whilst we were all supprised at how good the '03 was.
