Introduction
This was the monthly big group tasting. Nice tasting out on the patio made for a great afternoon and evening with around 17 of us.
2016 Comm. G.B. Burlotto Barolo Acclivi 92 Points
Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Medium dark red color. Small glass over 30 minutes. Same bottle as Chablis28. Lovely purity, red cherry, transparent, youthful, underbrush, anise, firm but round tannins.

Dark red color. Small glass, brief note. Really quite lovely, earthy, red fruits, tar and dried roses, lots of structure, very good, classy.

Medium dark maroonish color. Brief note. I might have liked this more than others. Cherry, dried herbs, medium bodied, well integrated, quite pleasant. BEtter than previous bottles.

This was in fine form, great mix of fruit, raspberries, raspberry liqueur, blackberries, cassis, velvety texture, yet still good restraint and very approachable. I was impressed. 91 to 91+pts.

Very light green gold color. Small glass. This was awfully good, steely, great mineral density, peach, Meyer lemon, fusil, a little grass. 89+ to 90pts.

Dark red color with a 4mm transitional margin. PNP, drank a glass over 60 minutes. Freshly baked cherries, dried spices, black cherries, spices, plum, full bodied, earthy, dusty tannins. 91+pts.
