Forgot to take notes, but this Brunello was drinking very nicely. Still some tannins and should easily have a few more years, but also good to go now. Was a great buy @ $39

Soft, gentlle and sophisticated nose.
Pronounced acidity, integrating tannines, fresh fruit, secondaries starting to emerge.

Classic, lovely Brunello. Smokey, deep dried fruit, dark cherry. Nice acids underneath. Concentrated with a long finish; chewy, lingering and luxurious.

Monthly Tasting Group: Italy It Is (Ciao Bella, Mpls): Brief note. Medium dark red color. Deep and concentrated, dark fruits, tar, anise, polished tannins and satiny texture.
