France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru
Med ruby, candied cherry, strawberry, high tannins, full body. This seems lot more masculine compared to the 2014, probably as the domaine was undergoing a transition. Would have benefitted with more time with air. Lot of fruits and structure to age for at least another 5 years.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Clos Vougeot Grand Cru
Blind. Touch of cola, new oak not well integrated, good structure and body, red cherry, strawberry, high acid, high alcohol with full body. Still have way to go. Definitely a grand cru but needs more time for the oak to integrate.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru
Blind. The aroma of this stands out, morning forest floor, spice, fine tannins, violet. Drinking nicely now with a right amount of fruits with tertiary flavours. WOTN
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru
Blind. Was surprise when this was revealed as 2014, thought it was the 2017 as it was drinking nicely and did not have the transparency or airy notes that comes with 2014. Cola, oak rather prominent, high tannins, fully body, grippy tannins, red cherry, raspberry.
2008 Charles Heidsieck Champagne Brut Millésimé Rosé 92 Points

Blind. Pale salmon in colour, red fruits, prune, broad structure, good ripeness
